Microsoft Outlook XP Setup

1. Launch Outlook XP

• Use your mouse to click on the Start menu.
• Mouseover Programs to display the secondary Programs menu.
• Mouseover Outlook XP and click once to launch the program.
• If Outlook XP does not appear on the Programs menu, review your software installation process.

2. Open E-mail Accounts Window

• Once the program is active click on the Tools menu.
• Mouseover E-mail Accounts... and click once to open the E-mail Accounts window.

3. Add a New Email Account

• Check the radio button to Add a new email account.
• Even if you already have an Internet E-mail service defined, you should continue to add a new service for email.
  This will not disrupt any existing email account(s).
• Click Next

4. Select Server Type

• Check the radio button for the POP3 server.
• Click Next.

5. Enter Email Account Information

• User Information
• Enter your name in the Your Name Field as you would like it to appear in the From field when you send messages.
• Enter youraddress@yourdomain.com in the E-mail address field.
• Server Information
• Enter mail.yourdomain.com in the incoming mail (POP3) field.
• Enter mail.yourdomain.com again in the outgoing mail (SMTP) field.
• Logon Information
• In the User Name field enter youraddress+yourdomain.com.
• In the Password field type the password for your email account.
• Verify the information and click Next.

6. Finish

• After clicking Next in step 5 the Congratulations window seen below should be displayd.
• Click Finish to save your settings.
